We purchased a home in 2005 refinanced with H&R Block in 2006 then the broker from H&R Block contacted us again in 2007, with a sweet deal to refinance our current mortgage (broker nolonger is with H&R) Well we ended up getting into a loan that what originally costed us $179,000 up to at the end of the life of the loan $2 m. Our interest rate was increased to 11% ARM, we requested for months prior to falling behind to remodify do to financial issues, denied, numerous attempts were made and they were just ignored, please send in this info, next month no you sent that to the wrong person please send this, etc.... total run around. We have seince left our home and waiting for them to forclose, can not even get them to do that. We have givin the home back to them, will not take it, just recieve phone calls at all hours of the day but will not leave a message- I do not answer unknown numbers. The least they could do is their job. A lawsuit should be brought against them for getting a home appraised for more that it was worth to get a loan out of an individual.
